There are seven fire hydrants in the area. Next to each hydrant is a box
containing hose and fittings for that hydrant.
Things to Remember:
 | Water pressure is such that no more than two hydrants may be used at any
one time. |
 | The purpose of the hydrants and hoses is to stop a wildfire from getting
to houses and/or to stop a house fire from spreading between houses. The
hydrants and hoses are not meant to put fires out within houses (keep
fire extinguishers readily available in your home and garage for this
purpose). |
 | The nearest organized fire response is from Aspendell or Bishop (Bishop
Fire Department, Cal Fire and/or Inyo National Forest). |
