Most property owners in the South Fork of Bishop Creek are members of the Mountain View Estates Mutual Water Company. The water company owns a pump house on Mount Tom View Road and supplies water to most property owners.

The current president of the Mountain View Estates Mutual Water Company is Steve Silcott and the treasurer is Gary Olson.

bulletThe annual meeting was held on Saturday July 3, 2010 at the Schoenherr's home.
bulletIt was decided by all attending to continue funding the contingency fund for emergencies and equipment replacement for 2010. All property owners will be assessed $150 each six months ($300 total for July 2010 - July 2011).
bullet2010 fees remain at $290 for homes and $65 for lots.
bulletTwo new street shut-off valves still need to be installed (Miller's and Romeyn's) and one street shut-off needs to be relocated. Once these actions are done, the supply lines will be up to date.
bulletA map of all the hydrants and home shut-off valves should be completed shortly. A copy of the map will be posted inside the pumphouse.
bulletWater certificates should be mailed to company members by the end of the summer.
bulletA community portable fire pump is mounted on a trailer and ready to go. It has a 2" ball hitch and can be towed to fires in the neighborhood. Contact Steve Silcott for training and further information.
bulletWork is still progressing on joining or supporting the fire department at Aspendell.
bulletAll of the hose boxes are stocked and locked. Please check the boxes and make sure you are familiar with how to use the equipment. Contact Steve Silcott for training and further information.
